Prime Timers - Older Adult Ministry
The Prime Timers ministry at Bethlehem Lutheran Church is our Older Adult Ministry. It is the goal of the Prime Timers to provide social activities, Bible study, an educational events, and to minister to the special needs of the older adults. The Prime Timers at Bethlehem are an integral part of a larger Older Adult Ministry Program of the Rocky Mountain District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

 

There are between 450 and 500 adults over the age of 55 at Bethlehem. Monthly potluck dinners (usually on the third Sunday), visits to various restaurants for lunch (the third Tuesday of each month), and outings (the second Thursday of each month) are planned well in advance and are advertised in Sunday bulletins via PowerPoint, and the monthly Fully Alive newsletter. Programs and speakers from outside the congregation are used as often as possible.

MISSION STATEMENT
Older Adult Ministry seeks to meet the special needs of seniors and to enable them to make use of their talents and gifts in Christian service to others both within and outside the congregation.
